AP-553 MIL-1553 DataPHY Data Recorder
The AP-553 MIL-1553 DataPHY records MIL-1553 data-bus traffic from military equipment. Recorded data can be securely shared with other equipment, either in real-time, or post flight. In a 1 by 2 by 3 inch enclosure it is the world's smallest MIL-1553 data collection system.
Within a very small form factor, the MIL-1553 DataPHY contains dual MIL-1553 receivers, capable of recording traffic from both the A and B buses on a single MIL-1553 data bus, a Gigabit Ethernet interface, an 802.11ac WiFi Radio, an integrated antenna, and 120 GB of local storage.
Software applications are provided by the integrated SystemX Operating System which includes dozens of networking, cybersecurity, data collection, configuration management, and application hosting features.
The size and weight of the DataPHY facilitates a large number of installation options. As a Transport Canada Approved Manufacturing Organization CCX Technologies can provide all documentation required to obtain the relevant certifications so that the AP-553 to be installed on any aircraft.
Applications
The AP-553 is primarily intended to be used as a data recorder but with a customized version of the SystemX Operating System the AP-553 also supports many of the networking, security, data collection and management, and application hosting features provided by SystemX.
MIL-1533 Data Recording
Data collected by the AP-553 DataPHY can be shared with other SystemX based equipment and monitored as part of an Data-bus Intrusion Detection System ,FDM/FOQA System, or preventative maintenance systems.
Data can also be shared with third-party equipment and systems, either during operation, or post-mission, using a secure API.
Electronic Flight Bag Data Source
The AP-553 can be used to collect data from MIL-1553 interfaces, or from additional CCX Technologies DataPHY Data Recorders and forward the data to EFB software running on a connected Tablet.
