CCX Technologies SystemX Operating System can ingest flight data from any avionics data bus, from network interfaces, and from any equipment that contains an SNMP, Syslog, or a API.
The collected data can be used to provide complete data sources for Flight Operations Quality Assurance (FOQA) and Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) programs, or can be used to augment an existing data collection system used for predictive maintenance systems.
Data Monitoring and Offloading
Data is stored in encrypted, signed databases on SystemX hardware. Data can be offloaded either during flight using a SATCOM system, on the ground using integrated LTE and WiFi radios or any other connectivity option available on the aircraft including a wired connection to a secure maintenance laptop.
Individual data samples can be prioritized based on source and contents so that critical data can be streamed from the aircraft in real-time over any available SATCOM/ATG interface, complete flight data can be offloaded on the ground over a higher-bandwidth terrestrial wireless network and archived data can be stored onboard the aircraft and accessed at a later date to assist with incident investigations.
SystemX supports the generation of custom rules and algorithms so that events like high rate of descent or below glidescope descent can be identified and flagged to an operations centre in real-time (or during post flight processing).
Data collected by SystemX can be accessed on a SystemX Ground Server and can be extracted for use in any other offline tool. In addition, CCX Technologies can provide assistance in customizing data formats for specific applications.
Supported Platforms
Avionics data bus data can be collected with the CCX Technologies DataPHY Data Recorders. Some of our Secure Router platforms also support ARINC-429 and AFDX data collection. It is also possible to pull data into SystemX from other third-party data collections sources, like existing FOQA or data monitoring systems.
Alert data can be transmitted to a SystemX server, either in real-time over an SATCOM connectivity solution, post-flight using a 5G or WiFi radio, or during a maintenance activity using a secure laptop.
