CCX Technologies Appoints Airplus Maintenance Exclusive T-RX RP+ Avionics Radio Tester for All of Europe

Agreement Establishes Sales, Service and Calibration Channels Across Europe

CCX Technologies has appointed Germany’s airplus Maintenance GMBH as its exclusive distributor of T-RX™ RP+ Avionics Radio Testers (RP+) for all of Europe. Airplus is also an authorized calibration service centre for Europe. The two companies are exhibiting together at the AEA Connect conference in Cologne, Germany, 23-24 January 2020.

“Our approach is to work with partners who share our vision of simplifying avionics radio testing, and airplus is a great fit both in terms of culture and business style,” said Chris Bartlett, president of CCX Technologies. “They immediately recognized the technological leap forward over current solutions and the value T-RX testers add to maintenance organizations. Their European footprint and relationships with aviation’s most respected avionics OEMs, makes airplus an ideal company to represent the T-RX. We anticipate strong advances as they help extend RP+ sales, service and calibration across Europe. We’re extremely pleased to partner with an organization possessing such a strong reputation and entrepreneurial spirit and we look forward to working with them.”

“Avionics radio testing represents an ample portion of an aircraft maintenance organization’s work and revenues,” said Laurent Gauthier, owner and CEO of airplus Maintenance. “We are authorised avionics resellers for the major OEMs and are proud to now be CCX Technologies’ exclusive European T-RX RP+ Avionics Radio Tester distributor. As a member of European Air Service Group, we have access to a broad array of maintainers who will certainly benefit from the advantages of this testing equipment.”

About the T-RX RP+ Avionics Radio Tester

T-RX™ RP+ Avionics Radio Tester is a rugged, wireless, touch-screen tablet. It’s portable and easy to use with an intuitive interface. The RP+ will test VOR Generation, ILS, VHF Comm Generation, Antenna SWR, Transponder Mode A/C Transponder Mode S, ADS-B 1090. In addition, it will also test DME, ELT Reader, VHF Comm Generation, SELCAL Tone generation and ARINC 429 Rx/Tx (TCAS, ADS-B UAT (978)).

Built for the requirements of today’s modern maintenance shop, T-RX will collect data during testing and store it on a secure server. Data can be identified by aircraft tail number, work order, and technician, and simply generate a PDF report. In the near future, Advanced Data Collection capabilities will allow maintenance organizations to retrieve the data via an API for integration into their electronic work order systems. Automatic field population will save time and add efficiency. Like CCX Technologies T-RX Radio and T-RX Pulse Testers, the RP+ is easy to upgrade and future-ready—and will support new radio test requirements as new radios and standards emerge.
