AP-560 Hardware Signature DataPHY

The CCX Technologies family of DataPHY devices makes it possible to collect data from avionics equipment and feed that data into the SystemX system in a highly secure manner.

Each DataPHY contains a Giga-Bit Ethernet Interface and an 802.11ac WiFi Radio with an integrated antenna. The DataPHY will send captured data using either the Ethernet or WiFi interface to another SystemX device, like the AP-250 over an encrypted link.

The size and weight of the DataPHY, and the minimal wiring required, facilitates a large number of installation options.

The Hardware Signature DataPHY contains a Universal ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) Front-End that can be used as an oscilloscope and decoder on any Avionics Database type (ARINC-429, MIL-1553, ARINC-717, CAN Bus, etc.). The voltage data collected by the ADC is used to create a hardware signature which the SystemX Avionics IDS uses to detect nefarious equipment installed on a databus.

The ADC front-end can also be used for diagnostics during installations and upgrades and to monitor the databus for other device failures. In addition, the AP-560 offers a direct real-time view into the operation of critical infrastructure on an aircraft.
