Premiere dealer leads cybersecurity mandate in rapidly growing Sub-Sahara Africa aviation market
CCX Technologies has signed an agreement with South Africa-based Safomar Aviation (Pty) Ltd. to sell onboard cybersecurity solutions into the rapidly growing Sub-Sahara Africa market. They will sell the suite of CCX avionics hardware solutions including AP-150 Secure Avionics Wireless Gateway, AP-250 inline cybersecurity appliance, and other cybersecurity products to a broad spectrum of aircraft operators.

Installed directly on the aircraft, CCX Technologies cybersecurity solutions help defend and protect onboard aircraft networks. Monitoring the network’s traffic, the solutions provide an in-depth view into the vulnerability and security levels of the onboard networks and data buses. Featuring advanced intrusion detection and prevention systems, log collection, monitoring and storage, the AP-250 offers a simple interface to Satcom terminals and routers and can be installed with or without a Satcom connection off the aircraft. They also make it easier to achieve a growing number of aviation authority cybersecurity guidelines including the RTCA DO-326/ED202 Airworthiness Security Process Specifications.
